IFFO RS is a Global Success
IFFO announced at their annual conference in Peru that 50% of all their member's fish meal and fish oil was not certified by Global Trust Certification to the IFFO RS standard. This represents a massive 29% of the entire global production of this valuable nutritional material. IFFO RS certified suppliers now span the global from South America up to Alaska and across to Europe and total more that 75 different manufacturing sites.
Global Trust is pleased to announce that 2 Fisheries from South Africa, 3 Fisheries from Ecuador and 2 Fisheries from Europe have been put forward for approval against the IFFO RS standard. This will bring the number of fisheries to 28 that will have been assessed as prerequisite to this standard since the first factory was certified in 2010. Currently 14 fisheries have been given approval status and these can be viewed on the IFFO website www.iffo.net
