FAO Responsible Fisheries Management Programme Promotion (Date:18 October 2011)
Global Trust attended a major reception at the recent Iceland ICE FISH exhibition where the FAO base Responsible Fisheries Management Program was promoted. This exhibition occurs every three years and is a show piece event for the Icelandic Fishing Industry. The reception was attended by over 100 people with presentations delivered by a leading Seafood Journalist and UK processor, both of whom were complementary of the FAO-based work in Iceland and Alaska and the development of this fishery certification programme.
